If you're here because you can't afford our programs

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Tell us what you’d like to do and we’ll figure out how to make it happen.

There is no means testing, no documentation, no committee, and no explanation required. You will not be asked to describe your situation, share your income, or justify the request.

This is one of the most common conversations we have. Nobody will make it awkward, and it will not change how anyone here treats you.

Why this exists

The fourth-strongest objection in everything we know about the women we serve is this one: “I can’t afford it, and asking what it costs is embarrassing.”

It’s the quietest and most expensive loss in the whole thing. She never asks. She assumes the answer, disqualifies herself, and nobody ever gets a chance to help.

Sponsor a Woman exists to make that assumption wrong, and this page exists to say so out loud.
