A retreat is a strange thing to sell to a woman who is exhausted. It sounds like one more thing to organize, one more day away from people who need you, one more room where you might have to talk about yourself.
So let’s be plain about what ours actually are.
One day. Five hours. You show up, you’re taken care of, and you leave with something in your hands. You can come alone; most women do. You are never required to speak, share, or explain anything to anyone.
What actually has to be rebuilt
People assume rebuilding means “feeling better.” It’s more specific than that, and naming the pieces makes it less overwhelming.
Expert-led sessions
Speakers who are genuinely good at this, not motivational filler. People with their own practices and their own followings.
Hands-on experiences
Sound bath, chair massage, reiki, planting, and writing. Small, tactile, and none of them require you to talk about yourself.
Something you take home
A guided workbook you keep using and a swag bag. You leave with something in your hands, which matters more than it sounds like.
Structured for a real nervous system
Trauma-informed means the day is built with breaks, quiet options, and no exercise that requires you to disclose anything.
Non-clinical
It’s not group therapy, it’s not a processing weekend, and nobody is going to ask you to go around the circle.
Fifty women
Capped on purpose. Small enough that you’ll actually talk to people rather than sit in an audience.
Do I have to share my personal story? No.
Not at all. This is a supportive environment where you’re encouraged to participate in whatever way feels comfortable. There is never any pressure to speak or share personal experiences.
We’re putting that near the top because it’s the reason most women don’t come, and it deserves a direct answer rather than an FAQ at the bottom.
Who comes to these
Women navigating a life transition. Women feeling stuck. Women rebuilding after a difficult season. And women who just want a day of inspiration and connection and don’t feel like justifying that.
Some are a month out from something. Some are five years out and still working on it. Some aren’t sure what they’re working on. All of them are welcome.
You do not have to call what happened to you trauma. You do not have to decide whether your situation was serious enough.

Build note: empty until October 17, then populated permanently. This section is the reason the parent page exists. It turns each event into the proof that sells the next one, and it is what justifies pricing the Q1 retreat at $189 early bird and $225 standard. Photographer, testimonial station, and media release forms must be planned before the day, not after.
Sponsor or exhibit at a retreat
Local businesses, financial services firms, foundations, and women-owned businesses sponsor our retreats and take vendor booths. Sponsorship is what lets us subsidize seats for women who can’t afford a ticket.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
What's a good one-day women's retreat near Denver?
Ours runs about five hours in Lakewood, costs $129, and is capped at fifty women. It’s trauma-informed and non-clinical, includes speaker sessions, wellness experiences, a sound bath, a guided workbook, and a swag bag, and it’s built so you can attend alone without feeling conspicuous.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and most women do. It’s structured so that arriving alone is normal rather than awkward, and the breakout experiences give you natural, low-pressure ways to meet people.
Do I have to share my story?
No. There is never any pressure to speak or share personal experiences. Participate however feels comfortable.
Is this religious or spiritual?
It’s not religious and it’s not affiliated with any faith. Some experiences, like the sound bath and reiki, are wellness practices you’re free to skip. Nothing on the agenda requires belief in anything.
What should I bring and wear?
Comfortable clothes you can sit and move in, layers, and a water bottle. Everything else is provided, including the workbook.
What's included in the ticket?
Admission, all speaker sessions and wellness experiences, a guided workbook, the meditation and sound bath, a swag bag, refreshments, and access to community vendors and resources.
Are there scholarships or subsidized tickets?
Yes. We hold a small number of subsidized seats at every retreat for women who can’t afford a ticket, funded by our sponsors and by our Sponsor a Woman program. Ask us.
How often do you run retreats?
We’re building toward quarterly. Join the waitlist to hear about dates first.
