It carries no fiduciary duty and no legal exposure. That’s exactly why a busy senior operator can say yes, and we’d rather state it plainly than have you work it out three emails in.

Why now

MAE launches October 2026. The tell-your-story-once flow is patent pending. The ambition is licensing across Colorado nonprofits, sober living facilities, and counseling offices, plus at least one county or municipal agency.
That’s a real product with a real business model attached to a mission that matters, built by a one-employee nonprofit. The gap between the ambition and the infrastructure is exactly where an advisory council earns its keep.

The governing board commitment is specified at 25 to 35 hours per year, and the number is the pitch. The advisory council commitment is not yet specified and it needs to be.

Recommend something meaningfully lighter, in the range of four meetings a year plus ad hoc availability. Confirm with Tiffany before publishing.
